We have identified a significant mismatch between what you filed in your ITR and records available with the department as of 05th-Dec-2025 for the Financial Year 2024-25 (details sent via email).
You are required to revise your ITR by the 31st December. Go to https://www.incometax.gov.in. Log in and navigate to “e-File” → “Income Tax Return” → “File Income Tax Return” → Select Assessment Year 2025-26 → click “Start new filing”.
In almost all cases, the transaction information above is accurate and you need to revise your ITR. However, if you find inaccuracies you can dispute them in the AIS portal. - Income Tax Department
This SMS says that the income tax department records, specifically AIS, bank / mutual fund / shares / cash transaction data, crypto transactions etc. are not matching with the income tax return for the current financial year.
